The Story Behind the Name
Inyambo was created with a simple purpose: to support travel professionals in delivering meaningful, well-run journeys across Rwanda. We’re a destination management company (DMC) that works exclusively B2B—built not for the spotlight, but for the people behind the scenes who make great travel happen.
Our story begins at home. Founded by Daniel Nizeye, a Rwandan with deep roots in the local travel and aviation industries, Inyambo is grounded in place—from the landscapes we move through to the relationships we’ve built across the country. We know the rhythm of Rwanda. We’ve lived the logistics. And we’ve seen how the smallest, most thoughtful details can shape a guest’s entire experience.
That’s why we do what we do. We’re here to be a reliable, value-aligned partner for travel professionals who want to work with people they can trust—people who care not just about the delivery, but the how and the why behind it.
Our name, Inyambo, comes from Rwanda’s royal cattle: elegant, powerful animals known for their beauty, presence, and cultural significance. For centuries, they’ve symbolized care, intention, and respect. We chose the name not just because it’s proudly Rwandan, but because it reminds us what to bring into every journey we help shape—grace, strength, and pride in where we come from.
Inyambo isn’t about scale. It’s about precision. It’s about doing things properly. And it’s about working in a way that reflects what we believe: that great travel can create lasting value—not just for guests, but for the communities and wild places they come to explore.

Daniel (Danny) Nizeye
Founder & Managing Director
Danny founded Inyambo with a clear purpose: to create the kind of DMC he always wished existed. With more than 13 years in Rwanda’s high-end travel and aviation industries, he brings a rare mix of operational depth, strategic vision, and heartfelt pride in his home country.
From early guest-facing roles to senior leadership, Danny has seen every side of the travel experience. That hands-on background is what shaped his belief in the importance of detail, reliability, and trust. Inyambo was built with those values at its core—and Danny echoes that ethos in everything he does.
"Rwanda isn’t just where I work—it’s home. What drives me is helping our partners share the richness of this place in a way that’s thoughtful, real, and done properly." – Daniel Nizeye

Ismael (Ish) Nsengiyumva
Senior Guide
With over 14 years in the field, Ish is one of Rwanda’s most seasoned and intuitive guides. He’s known for his deep connection to the forest, his expertise in mountain gorillas and birdlife, and the calm, thoughtful way he brings it all to life for his guests.
What makes Ish special isn’t just what he knows—it’s how he shares it. His warmth, quick humour, and eye for the small things turn every walk into a story and every sighting into a deeper moment of connection. If you’re exploring Rwanda with Ish, you’re in for more than just a guided experience—you’re in good company.
"I’ve spent years walking these forests, and they still surprise me. The more you listen, the more they teach you—and that’s what I love passing on to guests." – Ismael Nsengiyumva

Safari Segatarama
Senior Guide
Safari has been guiding for over 16 years, and it shows—in the way he tracks wildlife, tells stories, and makes every guest feel like they belong. His knowledge of Rwanda’s wildlife runs deep. But it’s his generous spirit and sense of joy that leave the lasting impression.
Whether he’s deep in the forest or sharing a laugh on the trail, Safari leads with heart. He brings together insight, humour, and hospitality in a way that makes every safari feel like time well spent—not just learning about Rwanda, but feeling part of it.
"There’s nothing better than watching someone experience Rwanda for the first time. If I can help them laugh, learn something, and feel connected—that’s a good day." – Safari Segatarama

Why Work With Us
Exclusively B2B
We don’t sell direct—and we never will. Inyambo exists to support the trade, full stop. That means no competing for your clients, no awkward overlaps, and no blurred lines. Our loyalty lies with our partners, and everything we do—from how we price to how we communicate. We see ourselves as an extension of your team on the ground.
Locally Based, Deeply Connected
This isn’t remote coordination—we’re here, in Rwanda, every day. We’ve walked the trails, know the lodge teams by name, and have built real, lasting relationships with the people who keep things moving—from permit officers to private drivers. That local grounding means we don’t just know what’s possible—we know how to make it happen, quickly and smoothly.
Responsive & Detail-Driven
Fast answers matter. So does getting the small stuff right. Whether you need a quick quote, a last-minute change, or just a heads-up that your guests have arrived safely, we’re already on it.
Guides That Represent You Well
When you hand over your guests, you’re handing over your reputation. We take that seriously. Our guides are more than just experienced—they’re warm, perceptive, and deeply proud to represent Rwanda. They know how to read a room, create connection, and bring depth to the journey in a way that feels human, not rehearsed.
Travel That Does Good
We believe all tourism should leave something valuable behind. That’s why we partner with local suppliers, community projects, and conservation-aligned initiatives that help Rwanda thrive. For us, it’s not about ticking boxes—it’s about being intentional in the way we work, so that the journeys we shape are meaningful for everyone involved.
